Celebrate Summertime Fun!
Create some summertime fun and experience the taste of New York’s’ Iconic Coney Island beach front theme park. Discovered in 1609 by Dutch explorer Henry Hudson, Coney Island eventually became an amusement park and beach.
Let your residents and staff take a trip down the beach boardwalk to experience one of the most famous amusement parks in the world. Beat the heat and create a beach theme as the park is situated right on the Atlantic ocean.

Stop 1: World’s Largest Hotdog Stand
Featuring: The Coney Island Hotdog
The worlds largest hotdog stand and the host of the “Hotdog Eating Contest”. Why not entertain your residents and show the most recent video of the defending champion Joey Chestnut? Check out YouTube for some fun and entertaining clips of this world renowned contest!
Serve up traditional steamed dogs with sauerkraut and mustard, chili dogs or even old fashioned corn dogs for some flavourful fun. Serve hotdogs in traditional paper wrappers.
Stop 2: Flywheel Eats
Featuring: Western BBQ ‘n’ Bacon Burger
Select any Maple Leaf beef burger and top with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, onion lettuce; serve in plastic baskets with checkered basket liners.
Stop 3: Half Moon Food Court
Featuring: Cheeseburger Nachos or Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries
Get creative and top nacho chips with cheese, ground beef or finely cut up burgers and lots of salsa and sour cream. For the fries, top with pulled chicken, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing. Serve up in small cardboard takeout boxes.
Stop 4: Williams Candy Store
Soft serve ice cream, cotton candy, candy apples, milkshakes and more! Put your own spin on the sweets and perhaps look into renting a soft serve ice cream machine for the day.
