Method
- Cook Italian Sausages on a pre-heated outdoor barbecue or arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cook in a pre-heated 350 F oven until the sausages have reached an internal temperature of 165 F (74 C). Heat the marinara sauce and onions, build the sandwiches with each of these items hot.
- Build each "Bad Boy" by splitting open each bun, placing the cooked Italian Sausage inside, with carmelized onions and marinara sauce over the sausage. Place each sausage on a bun on parchment-lined baking sheets and top each with provolone cheese slice. Place back into the oven and allow the cheese to melt before serving.
