Method

  1. Ensure that the sirloin steak strips are defrosted fully.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, add the oil and saute the onions and red bell peppers for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan – steak strips, green onions, hoisin sauce, plum sauce, water and black pepper. Stir fry the mixture, stirring occasionally for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. Ensure that the stir fry mixture reaches an internal temperature of 165 F (74 C). Serve hot.
