Recipe Information

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 177°C (350°F).
  2. Heat beef for 20-25 minutes, until internal temperature of 60°C (140°C).
  3. In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onions. Sauté for 5-8 minutes or until onions are browned.
  4. Combine BBQ sauce, maple syrup, seasoning, and mayonnaise. Stir to mix thoroughly.
  5. Spread 10 ml (1 tsp) sauce on each side of Kaiser bun.
  6. On bottom half of bun, place 60 g (2 oz) beef and 60 ml (1/4 cup) each onion, cheddar cheese, and lettuce. Top with lid of bun. Serve immediately.
