Celebrate Lunar New Year!
In China and other Asian countries, Lunar New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is the biggest celebration of the year. It is a time to celebrate with family and friends.
Celebrations of Lunar New Year traditionally last for 16 days beginning with Lunar New Year’s Eve, followed by Lunar New Year and ending with the Lantern Festival. Each year the calendar aligns with an animal in the Chinese zodiac.
Like any holiday, Lunar New Year has many traditions such as dragon dances, fireworks and of course eating with family and friends. The Chinese culture believes that certain foods consumed during the new year will bring wealth, good luck and happiness throughout the rest of the year.

Spring Rolls: the shape resembles bars of gold and are said to bring wealth and good fortune.
Pork or Chicken Dumplings: according to ancient legend, the number of dumplings one eats during the new year predicts the amount of money one will make.
