Method

  1. Defrost diced turkey fully. In a large pot over medium heat, saute onions, and drained mushrooms in 30 ml (2 Tbsp) canola oil for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the cabbage, chicken base, thyme, garlic, sauerkraut, black pepper, salt and diced turkey. Cook another 8-12 minutes at medium to low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Ensure the turkey dish reaches an internal temperature of 165 F (74C) prior to service.
