Method

  1. Open hogie buns and toast on a hot grill or panned in a pre-heated oven.
  2. In a large skillet or on a grill, heat oil and add onions, red and green peppers. Saute until carmelized and soft add the pulled beef and combine until hot. Beef should reach a temperature of 160 F/70C.
  3. To build the sandwich, add a layer of the pulled beef and sauted vegetables. Top with a 28gm slice of provolone cheese and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Place sandwiches in a pre-heated oven and allow the cheese to fully melt into the pulled beef and sauted vegetables.
