Breaded Pork Mushroom Melt
Recipe Information
Method
- In a pre-heated pot, melt the margarine and add the sliced mushrooms, once sauteed, add garlic powder and cream sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes to combine flavours.
- Lay out pork cutlettes on a baking sheet that has been lightly greased. Bake breaded pork cutlettes to an internal temperature of 165 F (60 C).
- For service, ladle mushroom cream sauce (45 ml/1..5 fl oz) over each pork cutlette and top with mozzarella cheese slice. Place tray back into oven under a broil setting to melt and lightly brown the tops of the pork cutlet stacks.
- Garnish with a few slices of sauteed mushrooms on top of stack (optional and not included in the nutritional analysis).
