Recipe Information

Method

  1. Thaw wieners in refrigeration at 4'C/40'F or lower the night before. Preheat convection oven to 325'F/165'C.
  2. Steam or boil wieners until temperature reaches 165'C/75'C for at least 15 seconds. Drain and keep warm.
  3. Spray a 2" deep insert pan with cooking spray. Arrange hot dog buns in pan cut side up. Place cooked wiener in buns.
  4. Top hot dogs with chili con carne with beans. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Tent pan with foil. Bake for ~15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cook to an internal temperature of 165'F/74'C held for at least 15 seconds.
