Recipe Information

Method

  1. In large pot, heat oil over medium high heat for 1 minute. Add garlic, rice and sausage and heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until sausage internal temperature reaches 75°C (170°F) .
  2. Add mixed vegetables, salsa and water. Cover and continue to heat over medium-high heat until rice begins to soften.
  3. Add shrimp to rice and continue to cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until shrimp is cooked and sausage internal temperature reaches 75° C (170°F).
